With a history of 150 years as a family-owned business, Tengelmann began early to operate fairly, ecologically responsibly and with a long-term focus due to the personal conviction of its shareholders. This was symbolized from the 1980s onwards by the frog and turtle as our trademark in the “Protect our environment” campaign.

Today, we are working on the strategical anchoring of sustainability in all our business activities.
