Marcel Bens is a member of the management team and the CEO of the North American Venture & Growth Capital firm Emil Capital Partners (ECP).

His professional career led the cosmopolitan not only through various industries, but also across five continents: In his more than 20-year career he has worked in operational and strategic roles in the automotive industry, in investment banking, private equity, and as the CEO of a chocolate factory. He has been at home in Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, and North America, where he joined ECP in 2011. He is also currently the CEO of NextFoods, a Health & Wellness platform in ECP’s Investment Portfolio.

Marcel studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
